Micheal has been attending this European Bal in central France ever since the Half-Door club was created. It is held on a farm and over 12 marquees host workshops, bals and sessions of European music and dance. All the participants camp beside the festival area. As part of the House Around group of musicians and set dancers organised by Peter Knight, Micheal Lalor, John Sinnott, Andy O’ Connell and Gerry Mc Evoy met a lot of people and had the opportunity of visiting other countries and teaching our love of Irish dancing.
